Welcome Image

Thank you for visiting the Danfelt Funeral Home website. We have been serving Maryville & surrounding communities since our opening in June of 2004. And now we have added this website to our list of family-centered services.

We are independently owned and operated and a proud member of the "Dignity Memorial Network". Because of this important privilege families that choose our funeral home are entitled to many benefits such as; Bereavement Travel Services, Access to Grief Management Library, National Portability of Prearranged Funeral or Cremation Services and a 100% Service Guarantee. Our Dignity Memorial Plans provide value in the form of simplicity of decision-making, choice and affordability.

We are very pleased to offer all of our services & merchandise on our site. We feel that everyone should feel comfortable with inquiring about funeral & cremation services for themselves as well as for a loved one. With this site you may provide all of your information to us for pre-planning before or after coming into meet with us.

We are also very proud to be able to offer the online obituaries & tribute videos of those families we are serving, especially for those who may not be able to attend the services.

We also offer "Pet Cremations Service & Merchandise" for those families that wish to have a fitting tribute to their pet. We offer many different types of pet cremation urns.

We can not express enough the importance to families to educate themselves on funeral cost & services. Because of our dedication to service to this community our staff is always being educated on the latest developments of funeral service. There is no such thing as a "standard" person. So we don't arrange "standard" funerals. A funeral or memorial service is a living, breathing testament of a person's life and it should celebrated in a very special personalized way. Because every person is unique, we feel we are too.

We are dedicated to quality service, flexibility and competitive pricing. We pledge to provide those families that choose our funeral home the most caring and professional services. Just remember that being the smaller funeral home business in town, we have the time to do all the little things that are so important.

We hope you find your visit helpful, and hope you come back whenever we can be of service. For further information on the Dignity Memorial Network please visit their site at www.DignityMemorial.com

On January 19, 2006 Danfelt Funeral Home was presented the "Service of Excellence Award" by the Maryville Chamber of Commerce for most improved business in Maryville. On January 20, 2006 we added another service to our families. For visitations we now provide a coffee bar with attendant. We feel that everyone that patronizes our establishment should never have to ask for anything. We gladly provide this service at no charge.

On February 7, 2006 we received a "Certificate of Recognition from Representative Brad Lager and the Missouri House of Representatives acknowledging our "Standard of Excellence Award".

Our new state of the art "Arrangement Center" is now complete. We anticipate the new arrangement center will provide ease in selecting merchandise & services.

On December 23, 2006 we have added another service to enhance our funeral services. We have installed a BRG Electronic Carillon Church Bells and Chimes System. This will allow chimes to play postlude and prelude for services at our funeral home. The system will play on the hour the Westminster Chimes from 8 A.M. to 6 P.M., in addition every hour it will play a song from one of the seasonal selections.

Yours in service,

P. Steven Danfelt, Jr.
Funeral Director/Embalmer/Owner
